Originally our California trip was going
to be: Fly into LA, drive Hwy 1 to SF, drive Hwy1 up
to Mednocino, drive back to SF and then fly home. I'm famous for
trying to do things that are next to impossible. There's nothing
wrong with dreaming big. Now I know we never would have made it
back. We'd still be on the road. So our
trip up the coast was spectacular. The weather was great but it
took us 45 hours to drive one mile. Really! You think I'm
exaggerating? Ok, you caught me. Next year it will be 346 hours
to drive 100 yards. It took a long time but I'm very glad we did
it. |
